The Power of People and Inspiration

Reporters in Isolation 2020

I think that each of us who is stuck in the turmoil of a pandemic has faced many problems and difficulties. However, this period gave us new opportunities. Soon we will remember this period with smiles and tell our children about it. Or it might look like my "quarantine imprisonment" story.

Once very far away, lived a girl Victoria, who was very fond of travel, study, and life. She was young, full of energy and inspired by new adventures that awaited her ahead. Victoria had lots of exciting plans which were to come true, but then Evil Pandemic overtook and imprisoned Victoria in an apartment in four walls. The whole world swallowed the fear and horror of the consequences that haunted every country. The city in which she lived was quiet and the streets were empty. People hid in the fear of Evil Pandemic to protect themselves and their loved ones. To fight with this Evil, people used masks, disinfectants, began to observe the distance and were closed in their homes. Nevertheless, neither people nor Victoria was not broken under the yoke of Pandemic. Everyone shared new information, created societies for common interests — in general, people became closer to each other. After all, they all knew that in any trouble, together you could always overcome any period of life.

Victoria was scared and confused, and she didn’t know what to do. The only one thing could save her — Inspiration. Thanks to Fairy Inspiration, Victoria was able to acquire new skills and get acquainted with new interesting and exciting books, films, and series. During the “quarantine imprisonment,” she continued to work as a web designer and develop in her favorite field. Victoria acquired new skills in the use of computer technology and met the same courageous people as she was with whom they comprehended the world of Zoom and together fought against new educational obstacles to conquer the heights of new knowledge and experience.

Victoria knew for sure that “every cloud has a silver lining”. It means that a difficult period is always followed by a very bright and successful time. The main heroine and all the people imprisoned in a similar "dungeon" learned how to value their and others' lives much more than it had been before Evil Pandemic.

The moral of this fable is this: all of us, people living on such a large and beautiful planet Earth, should remember about each other, care about the environment, and appreciate every moment of our lives. After all, every moment has been given to us, so that we can become better versions of ourselves and develop at every given opportunity. And it doesn’t really matter whether it is Evil Pandemic or Fairy Inspiration — any situation is given FOR something, and not as a punishment.

Let's start to appreciate every moment of our lives!
