Scars represent pain and growth. Her scars are a constant reminder of what she has been through. This scar has a story. This scar represents when my mom could have died in a car accident 15 years ago. It also represents the many eight-hour surgeries she went through to be here to provide for my sister and me. X marks the spot of her recovery.
Baby Belly
This is the representation of what a mother goes through to give birth. It’s very common for women to struggle with post-partum depression and a negative body image after childbirth. This mother is struggling to love her post-baby belly. Her body went through a lot of changes to provide her little one with the nutrition needed to sustain life.
Read Between the Fine Lines
Aging is inevitable. Fine lines and wrinkles are beautiful and show the wonderful life that was lived. They are the road marks of life. Too many people are insecure about the things that make life beautiful and represent our past.
